The Atelier
Founded in 2019 by Paris-trained stylist Noémie Varenne, Maison Solenne was built around a simple idea: great hair takes time, and the room should give it to you.
“We cut for the way your hair moves on the tenth day, not just the first.”
The salon seats six stylists and two treatment rooms in a light-filled loft above Crosby Street. Every appointment begins with a seated consultation and ends with a finish you can recreate at home.
We specialize in precision and dry cutting, soft hand-painted balayage, and color built to grow out gracefully. Our beauty studio offers facials, brows, lashes and makeup for clients who want everything under one roof.
We use low-ammonia color, bond-building additives in every lightening service, and our own Solenne Rituals line of scalp and hair care, made in small batches in Brooklyn.

Prices are in US dollars and start at the rates below. Final pricing depends on hair length, density and stylist level, and is always confirmed at consultation before we begin.

A few things to know before your first visit.
How do I book?
Call or text +1 (212) 555-0186, or email hello@maisonsolenne.com with the service, preferred stylist and two or three time options. We confirm within four business hours.
Cancellation policy
Please give at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations inside 48 hours are charged 50% of the booked service; no-shows are charged in full. A card is held on file to secure every booking.
Deposits
Color services over $300, keratin smoothing and all bridal bookings require a 30% deposit, applied to the final bill.
Patch tests
First-time color clients need a complimentary patch test at least 48 hours before their appointment. It takes five minutes.
Consultations
A 15-minute consultation is complimentary, and required for color correction and keratin smoothing.
Running late
We hold your appointment for 15 minutes. After that we may need to shorten the service or reschedule.
Accessibility
The salon is on the second floor and served by an elevator. Our restroom is wheelchair accessible.
Gift cards
Digital and printed gift cards are available from $100 to $1,000 and never expire.
